Podcasts to Knit To – As requested recently by a Guild member, here is Nancy Nevin’s article from last year What is Your Favorite Knitting Podcast? Email Nancy with your favorite podcast, and we’ll post them here in future News Briefs.
Quilting Enthusiasts – Frequently we receive invites or tickets to quilting events throughout the SoCal region. That is because our Guild is a member of the Southern California Council of Quilt Guilds through which our insurance is obtained. To learn about these quilting events, visit our Ravelry group and check out the thread called “Quilting Enthusiasts”.
Visions Art Museum – Do you know about Visions? It’s a great quilt and textile museum in Liberty Station. While its focus is largely on art quilts, there have been other fiber art exhibits, including lace, knitting, and crochet. Find them on the web at VisionsArtMuseum.org.
The San Diego County Fair will be open June 5 through July 5 (closed on Mondays). Information is now available on the fair’s website.
