The Guild encourages members to support local yarn shops when purchasing yarn and knitting supplies. There’s nothing like experiencing yarn in person—feeling its softness, seeing the true color in daylight, and exploring the drape and texture of a swatch.

These shops are often run by experienced knitters who are eager to share their knowledge about yarns, needles, and patterns. Visiting your local yarn store (LYS) not only enriches your knitting journey but also helps sustain these valuable in-person resources in our San Diego community.
