About Simone Kereit

Simone grew up in Switzerland and has been knitting and designing for most of her life. Her formal education was in languages and arts, which gives her the perfect background to write clear patterns, but with an edge and creative uniqueness. Simone’s inspiration tends to come from nature and the natural world around us.
On Ravelry Simone describes herself: “I love the creativity that two sticks and some yarn holds, all tightly wound in a little ball, like a blossom in a growing bud in spring. I love to explore new techniques and different ways to construct things. I make everything, from intricate lace shawls to stranded colorwork sweaters. It all goes in cycles – some days I am more into color, others into detail, ya never know!”
Simone will be teaching four workshops – only $30 per workshop for members! Click on a title for details about the workshop and how to register.
