When Barry learned to design, he learned about the body. He learned that every part of the body is important. During this workshop, we’ll take a full set of body measurements. We’ll look at swatches and your body, and work through the design process of a classic pullover or cardigan or accessory so that you feel comfortable with simple details. Barry’s goal with this class is to let you look at everything you are knitting and know if your goals will be met. Will it fit? Will you wear it? Did you pick the right yarn?…..and so much more.

Bonus: The handout for this class is something that you can duplicate and work with on all future knitting adventures.

Class Length: 3 hours

Meeting Format: Lecture and Hands-on learning

Prerequisite: You don’t have to have been in the first class to do this class, but certainly it’s a great way to start and to accelerate your style and fit options!

Materials and Supplies Needed to Bring to Class: Complete list will be provided in advance to registered students.

Cost: $30 for members ($65 for non-members which includes Guild Membership)

Payment is by check made payable to San Diego North Coast Knitters Guild (payee name must be written out in full – our bank will not accept checks with abbreviations.) Checks should be mailed to Willa Cather (address in your Guild Directory.) Your registration is guaranteed upon confirmation of receipt of your payment.

Cancellation Policy: Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel your workshop registration. Refund of the workshop fee requires a cancellation notification at least 48 hours in advance of the workshop. Fees cannot be refunded for cancellations with less than 48 hours advance notice.
