2024 UPCOMING SHare-a-Knit Philanthropy Events

There are no planned organized Share-a-Knit events for 2024. If you have a group but need ideas or supplies (or vice versa), contact Colleen Lukoff, Philanthropy Chair.

Share a Knit With the Guild

Share A Knit is an occasional program of participatory knitting for Guild-supported community organizations. Knitters gather for a few hours to begin, and sometimes complete, a new small project. Completed projects are donated to an organization supported by Guild Philanthropy. Here are the first two patterns Eileen Adler designed for Share A Knit:  Blocks By Design and Dappled Sunlight Scarf. Download the patterns, find some yarn, knit up some gorgeous scarves and donate them to a worthy cause. Or knit some hat! Many free patterns are available on the web, or pick up patterns from the Philanthropy table at Guild meetings.
Many thanks!

** Note: The Guild is no longer accepting afghan/blanket squares.
You may continue to access these patterns for your personal use.

The patterns that were used by the Guild Philanthropy Knit-a-Square group are available for members to download and print. There are two files, a five-page file of eight written square patterns, and a two-page file of two written blanket patterns. These patterns are provided to SDNCKG members for philanthropic purposes.
