Workshops

Workshops led by guest speakers

Our Guest Speakers at the Tuesday Guild meetings often lead workshops on subsequent days. Registration in advance is usually required and helps to guarantee your seat.

How to Register: Sign up for workshops at Tuesday meetings. Registration opens two months preceding each workshop. Or contact Program Chairs Sue Zois and Laura Brubaker at Programs@SanDiegoKnitters.com to reserve your spots. On-line registration is not available. Payment upon registration is preferred and guarantees your seat.

Cost:  Workshops (3 hours) are $30 for members. For non-members, your first workshop fee is $55 which includes a Guild membership for 2019. Your second and subsequent workshop fees are the same as for members–$30. Additional material fees for some workshops are noted in the descriptions. Please make your check payable to San Diego North Coast Knitters Guild or SDNCKG. At meetings only, we accept checks and cash payment for workshops, and now credit cards! You must present your credit at a Guild meeting for swiping, we do not accept any credit or debit card numbers by mail. In order to receive a cancellation refund, please cancel prior to the beginning of the guest instructor’s Tuesday program.

Location: Workshops take place at Temple Solel, 3575 Manchester Ave, Cardiff. (map it!) The classroom, called Beit Midrash, is located at the top of the stairs near the elevator.

Homework and Materials: Check the Event page listing on the website for each workshop in advance to learn if there is homework for the particular workshop. Also find a list of materials to bring to each workshop.
