“What’s love got to do with it?” Fashion trends that move us forward from 2023 to 2024.
During this talk, we’ll take a look at where Trendsetter started 35 years ago and where we are heading in 2024 and beyond.
So much has evolved over the years from fashion, to fashion yarns, to stitch work, to bodies, and what we want to wear and create. What do we look at first…..does yarn come first or does design? What does Barry look at first….yarn or design? Where is yarn/fashion now, and where will it be heading in the upcoming year?
Throughout the talk, sample sweaters, accessories and ideas will be highlighted and shared. There will be swatches of successes and failures, and we’ll discuss what makes something a success or a failure.
From the start of Trendsetter Yarns, Barry’s favorite phrase has been.. “Let the yarn do the work.” Does this still hold true as we move towards 2024 and beyond?
Ultimately, Barry hopes you will walk away feeling the same love of fashion, yarn, style and creativity that he has. He also hopes you will feel that we will get there together. Crafting in any and all forms is a wonderful group adventure and sharing it is the icing on the cake.
