Workshops led by guest speakers
2021 Workshops will be virtual until further notice.
Our Guest Speakers at the Tuesday Guild meetings frequently offer workshops. Advance registration is required and will guarantee your place.
How to Register:
Virtual Workshops – check individual workshop page(s) for details on how to register. Space is usually limited to twenty or fewer participants. Virtual workshops are via Zoom and Zoom links will be sent only to those who have registered. In the event there are more registrants than spots available in a class, spots will go to those whose payment has been received. New to Zoom? Read Karen des Jardins’ Zoom tips here.
Cost: Workshops, unless otherwise indicated, are $30 for members. For non-members, your first workshop fee is $55 which includes a Guild membership for 2021. Your second and subsequent workshop fees are the same as for members–$30. Additional material fees for some workshops are noted in workshop descriptions.
For Virtual Workshops, check the workshop page or the News Blast for specific sign-up instructions. In general, we currently do not accept credit card payments for workshops since cards must be swiped in person and we cannot accept any credit or debit card numbers by mail. Checks should be made payable to SDNCKG (be sure to write the instructor name and workshop number on the check.) Checks must be mailed to guarantee your spot. The workshop page will indicate where you should mail your check. In order to receive a cancellation refund, please cancel prior to the beginning of the guest instructor’s Tuesday program.
Location: Until further notice, no in-person workshops will be scheduled, all workshops will be virtual via Zoom.
Homework and Materials: Check the Event page listing on the website for each workshop in advance to learn if there is homework for the particular workshop and for a specific list of supplies and equipment needed for each workshop.
