Olga Buraya-Kefelian Workshop 4

Thursday, May 6, 2021 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

3-D KNITWEAR with Kune-Kune Shawl/Cowl

This workshop is designed to inspire you and enable you to easily complete the projects shown. No other workshop needs to be taken as a prerequisite.

Olga is known for her exploration into 3-D design philosophy, revealing a slightly different angle of knitwear. She has the ability to create truly one of a kind types of knitwear that makes one wonder if it was even knit! In this workshop you will be pushing your existing knitting skills into new pathways to achieve highly textured fabric, all the while creating a 3-D textured Kune-Kune Shawl or Kune-Kune Cowl. You will learn not just how to make it but also how to adapt it and shape it to your liking. *Students must purchase a Kune Kune pattern in advance of class in order to participate.
