This workshop is designed to inspire you and enable you to easily complete the projects shown. No other workshop needs to be taken as a prerequisite.
This class is part demonstration with an AV presentation and a short lecture about 3D knitwear using a hand knitting approach, including all inspiration processes. Olga presents her 3-D design philosophy to reveal a slightly different angle of knitwear, and works to put your existing knitting skills onto a novel path through the creation of 3-D textured swatches using her special Slip Stitch technique. Students will learn not just how to make it, but also how to adapt it, combine, and shape it to their liking. After this class students can knit any of the following patterns in confidence using this technique: KOKO wrap, KOKO cowl, LOLO cowl, SEI cowl, Hisho shawl, KORO-KORO shawl (these patterns do not come with the class).
