Herringbone Braids and Beyond – Braided Wristlets
These wristlets will take you through the ins and outs of stranded color knitting, including managing yarn while knitting with two colors, and yarn color dominance. You will learn six distinct braids: Latvian herringbone braids and two kinds of half braids, all both left and right facing.
Level of Experience: Intermediate. Skills required – knit/purl, cast on/bind off, working in the round. (Students should be comfortable working small circumferences in the round.)
Homework: Cast on 49 sts with light color if you have two light colored balls, or with dark color if you have two dark colored balls.
Materials and Supplies Needed for Class: Three 50g balls of DK or sport weight yarn in two contrasting colors – two light balls and one dark ball, or two dark balls and one light ball. US size 4 (3.5 mm) needles: a set of dpns or two circulars needles, or a circular for magic loop. A printed or downloaded digital copy of the Braided Wristlets pattern by Michele Lee Bernstein, see below.
Materials fee: This class features the Braided Wristlets pattern by Michele Lee Bernstein. Participants must pay for this pattern at the time of registration for $3.25 (wholesale). After registering, you will be supplied with a coupon code so the pattern can be saved in your Ravelry library. If you cannot use Ravelry, you will be given a code to download the pattern from Payhip.
Cost: $30 for members plus the $3.25 pattern fee for a total of $33.25. ($58.25 for non-members which includes 2021 Guild membership.)

Cancellation policy: Due to limited seating, please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel your workshop registration. Refund of the workshop fee requires a cancellation notification at least 48 hours in advance of the workshop. Fees cannot be refunded for cancellations with less than 48 hours advance notice.
