About Molly Conroy-Ungerecht.
Molly learned to knit in 2008 and it was an immediate obsession. Her first class was a felted bag where she learned to purl, increase, decrease, I-cord and more! The structure of knitting and design made immediate sense to Molly and she began designing and publishing patterns.
By 2011 she was a partner in a LYS, Hands on Knitting Center in SoCal, and selling patterns. The time spent running a LYS honed her skills in knitting, fixing, and adjusting patterns. She began to teach regularly in the shop. 2020 took the shop and Molly’s teaching skills online and allowed her to reach beyond the shop. She has taught for multiple guilds, in person and on zoom, for STITCHES, and Melissa Leapman and friends. Molly’s favorite thing
is to take seemingly complicated techniques and make them easy to understand.
Molly is the co-owner of Hands On Knitting Center, in Redlands, CA. This month the center is hosting a YARNAVAL event, details on the website.
