Minutes of the General Meeting

At 12:34 PM Co-President Renate Kamm called the meeting to order. She introduced Program Co-Chair Theresa Kotanchek who introduced our guest speaker Barry Klein of Trendsetter Yarns.
Barry’s presentation was titled Fall Forward into ’24. He was a charming and personable speaker as he described how he uses retail fashions as inspiration for his knitting designs. He also had many samples of his designs for us to see and try on after the meeting.
After the presentation Theresa Kotanchek gave us more information about our November meeting and workshops with Janine Bajus.
Mary Lovett, Retreat Co-Ordinator, gave us information on our winter retreat in January.
Tania Marshall, Co-President, urged members to strongly consider taking a SDNCKG board position or chair a committee in 2025. She described the many unexpected surprises and learning opportunities she has enjoyed as President.
Sydnie Wauson, Holiday Luncheon Chairperson, urged members to sign up for the holiday luncheon. There are many wonderful items for the Opportunity Drawing.
Sydnie Wauson emceed the Show and Share.
Renate Kamm adjourned the meeting at 2:00 PM.
