Ravelry Tip of the Month for July

June 30, 2020

Ravelry Tip of the Month for July.

This feature will be on hiatus until the new Ravelry website design is finalized.

Surprise! Ravelry redesigned their website!

If you prefer the look of Classic Ravelry, click on your profile picture (“Ravatar”) in the upper right corner of the screen. The drop-down menu includes a choice to switch to the Classic Ravelry look. That menu also allows you to switch back to the new look.

We’re not including a screen shot of this menu because there are reports of the new Ravelry design triggering eye strain, headaches, etc. There are additional menu choices that may help if you encounter these issues, such as an option to eliminate drop shadows.

While the Ravelry team works to make the new site more accessible for all users, our Tip of the Month will go on holiday until the design is finalized.

Ravelry has promised to give a 6-month warning before the Classic Ravelry site is taken down for good. We’ll resume providing a Tip of the Month at that time, at the latest.
