Program Updates and Plans for the Rest of 2020
Programs CoChairs Sue Zois and Laura Brubaker, after suggestions and encouragement from other executive board members, will make an effort to salvage our disappointing second year resulting from circumstances beyond our control. For the remainder of 2020, we will be experimenting with virtual Guild meetings.
More information on the technical aspects of this endeavor will be forthcoming. But for now, we are happy to report that the September 1 guild meeting speaker will be Cecelia Campochiaro, who was our scheduled September guest. Cecelia will give an online presentation on the marling technique and introduce her new book, “Making Marls”. Krista Ann, knitwear designer for Hollywood, will entertain us with a virtual presentation on October 6.
