I’m so excited Nancy Bates is coming to our Guild!

July 26, 2024

Why you Might Want to take one of Nancy’s Workshops!

I’ve made over 40 Nancy Bates beanies from her various collections.

My journey began because I love visiting National Parks and although I feel I’m an advanced knitter, my colorwork needed help. Rather than do swatches, my beanie practice pieces were colorful finished projects. You work the ribbing, then follow a color chart for 40 or so rounds – and you’re done!

NancyBatesDesigns.com is such a user-friendly website that I have referred friends and family nationwide to it so they could select beanies for me to make them. I am now their favorite. Yellowstone has been the most requested and I’ve made five so far.

Workshop 1 Beginning Hat Knitting has many useful techniques. If you have trouble reading charts, this class is definitely for you.

I’m taking Workshop 2 Hat Design Basics. My husband and I enjoy going on photo safaris and I am eager to learn how to transform favorite photos into original designs.

Come and join the fun on October 1 and 2.
