Volunteers Needed for Guild Demonstration Booth in September

August 4, 2022

2022 Interfaith Services Mental Health Festival

The Guild will be participating in the Carlsbad Interfaith Services’ Inaugural Change Your Mind Mental Health Festival on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 11 am to 4 pm. It is a free, open to the public event presenting mental health information and resources.

For more details visit: www.interfaithservices.org/change/

The Guild will have a booth featuring knitting as a stress relief activity. Tania Marshall will be spearheading this outreach and is looking for straight needles and partial skeins of smooth DK to chunky weight yarn so participants can dabble in our craft. Volunteers are also needed to man the booth.  An hour or two of your time would be greatly appreciated. Contact Tania Marshall if you can help with materials or your time and expertise.
