Show and Share From the September 2015 Meeting
Members shared some beautiful items at the September meeting before the start of the Stash Sale. Garments and toys knit were knit from all weights of yarn in a variety of fibers. Several yarns were purchased at previous Stash Sales. All Show and Share items were inspiration for yarn purchases later in the meeting.

We enjoyed a diverse collection of beautiful finished knitted items at the August meeting. Members shared items of all kinds including felted jewelry and a baby dress! One member modeled a shawl she designed in a Guild workshop given by Sivia Harding.

Monthly Meeting on October 13
Yarn meets art in October when Ashley V. Blalock comes to talk about her work and inspiration. Ashley is a local fiber artist whose work fuses craft and fine art. Her installation “To Live Is to Leave Traces” features 4000 pink crocheted flowers, and the “Keeping Up Appearances” series fills rooms with giant red doilies.
