Learn about materials for lace knitting, Romi’s favorite no-fail garter tab cast-on to keep lumps away, her favorite stretchy bind-off, tricks for keeping edges loose when switching colors, reading charts and/or using them to check your progress while using written instructions, avoiding errors and fixing errors when you make them, using markers to help keep track of pattern repeats, managing beads, and so many other things that will make your lace knitting life easier.
• Fingering weight yarn (Tip: Bring light-colored yarn that doesn’t split)
• US Size 4, 5, and 6 knitting needles
• 15 size 6/0 seed beads
• Small crochet hook to fit beads
