Mary Martin – Workshop 2

Wednesday, February 7 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Fusion Knitting

Fusion Knitting

Class Description: Fusion Knitting is a reversible colorwork technique. Design elements are created with slipped stitches placed on both sides of the fabric. The motif on one side of the fabric is mirrored on the other side.

In this 3-hour workshop, you will be knitting a small swatch in the round to practice the most used stitches and cables. Emphasis will be on reading your knitting and understanding what happens with each kind of stitch. You will learn the properties of Fusion Knit fabric and why the technique works.
