Faina Goberstein Visits the Guild Virtually!
Faina will present her talk “The Essence of Tuck Stitch”
Have you wondered what is a tuck stitch in knitting? Faina Goberstein’s lecture “The Essence of Tuck Stitch” will introduce this beautiful stitch in details showing its relation to Slip-Stitch knitting with a deeper look at the technique and its application in modern knitting.
She will showcase how tuck stitches form different fabrics with incredibly interesting textures either dense or lacy. You will see swatches and projects using tuck stitches and diagrams on how to make it happen.
Learning how to work these stitches pays off when you want to create a beautiful texture with an interesting look.
