Overview

In this comprehensive Knitted Jewelry workshop, you will learn a variety of techniques that will help you incorporate beads, clasps, and jewelry techniques into your knitting. This class will be a great booster to your gift knitting repertoire as most knit jewelry designs can be made in just a few hours. You will have a wonderful time playing with Laura, beads, and your knitting to create unique wearable knitted jewelry. After we have gone over the techniques and skills, students will be able to purchase a kit if desired to begin knitting their own piece of jewelry in class.

Skills learned

A basic understanding of working with beads and making knit jewelry. Students will be well into their own project by the end of class!

• Variety of double-pointed needles from US#0 – US#2 (sharp tips preferred)
• Kits will be available for purchase in class (or you can purchase one of Laura’s patterns in advance and bring the supplies for it)
