Irina Anikeeva – From Edge to Edge: Polished Cast-Ons and Bind-Offs

Wednesday, May 6, 2026 @ 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Overview

In this workshop, we will focus on cast-on and bind-off methods that create refined, elastic, and professional-looking edges, with particular emphasis on the Folded Tubular Cast-On and the corresponding Tubular Bind-Off.

Participants will learn how these techniques produce clean, balanced edges that flow seamlessly into ribbing, enhancing both the appearance and function of cuffs, hems, and necklines. Through guided swatching, participants will practice these methods and gain the confidence to incorporate them into their own knitting, elevating the finish of their work from the very first stitch to the last.
