Guild Meeting In Person with Jennifer Berg

Tuesday, October 6, 2026 @ 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM

Overview

Indigenous Heritage, Textiles, and Knitting

In this presentation, Native Knitter (aka Jennifer Berg) will talk about the connections between Indigenous heritage, textile traditions, and her style of knitting. She’ll share how storytelling, symbolism, and design principles have shaped Indigenous textile arts and how these ideas influence her knitting design. Attendees will get a peek into her process and learn how to draw inspiration from tradition while finding their own creative voice.
