Jamie Lomax is a Seattle-based designer specializing in modern, modular colorwork knitting patterns. The Doodle system is a unique mix-and-match framework that is intended to foster creativity in makers, encouraging them to “knit outside the box.” With over 35 different Doodle Decks, 12 Destinations, and almost 20 Base Patterns, there are literally endless possibilities for what you can make with Doodle patterns!
In this talk, Jamie will be discussing how she got started designing colorwork knitting patterns, the first Doodle design, the origin of the very first Doodle Deck, all the way through to how she’s grown Pacific Knit Co.’s signature Doodles to what they are today. She’ll also be discussing the creative process and how she comes up with new Doodle ideas!
