Deborah Jarchow, weaver, artist, designer and creator of wearable art is May’s guest speaker!
Have you wondered what all the excitement is about weaving? Have you heard that warping the loom is difficult and complicated? During Deborah’s talk and demonstration you will see just how easy it is to set up a rigid heddle loom and begin weaving. With very little experience, you can easily weave beautiful fabric for scarves, bags, pillows, and so much more. Let yourself learn about a new way to use your yarn. You will see examples of just how many different things can be created from the rigid heddle looms. Deborah will bring lots of samples of items she has woven on these small looms.

Deborah will teach a day-long workshop “Learn to use the Rigid Heddle Loom and Make a Use-Up-Your-Stash Scarf”.
Doors open at 12:15 pm. Presentation begins at 12:30 pm. Afterwards there will be a business meeting followed by Show and Share. Bring your finished knitted items to show to all. Download a Show and Share Form and complete it at home where you have all the information.
