In this class, you will learn the basics of Norwegian-style stranded knitting in the round from expert Nordic knitters ARNE & CARLOS, who will show you the easiest and most relaxing way to hold the needles and yarns. They will teach you important techniques and tricks that will help you achieve perfect colourwork tension while keeping all your stitches even and beautiful, in true Norwegian style!

1 ball (50 grams) of ROWAN Norwegian Wool, Ribbon Red 018
1 ball (50 grams) of ROWAN Norwegian Wool, Cloud Dancer 014
OR any two other contrasting colors of your choice.
Knitting Needles:
1 set of 5 DPNs size 3mm (U.S. size 3)
1 crochet hook size 3mm (U.S. size D-3) for the hanging loop
NOTE on NEEDLES: This class is taught using DPNs but attendees can also opt to use a long circular needle for magic loop or 2 short circular needles if they prefer.
Other Supplies: Wool or polyester stuffing

How to Register
Due to the anticipated demand we are limiting class registrations to a maximum of two of ARNE & CARLOS classes per SDNCKG member. If you are interested in attending more than 2 classes, then your name will be put on a waiting list for the additional classes. If a workshop is not sold out by March 1st, then the remaining seats will be made available to those on the waiting list in the order received.
