Mélange of Slip Stitch Patterns with Lace and Cables
This fancy group of slip-stitch patterns is full of beautiful and unusual combinations with other techniques. Learn new and exciting stitches that are surprising and inspirational. You will make a few swatches, see more examples and samples of garments and accessories. Knowing this group of stitches will change your outlook on slip-stitch knitting.
Meeting Format: Lecture and hands-on learning, via Zoom
Level of Experience: Knit/ Purl; Cast on/ Bind off; Cables; Beginner Lace
Materials and Supplies Needed for Class:
Yarn: 3 balls of different solid-color yarn (DK or worsted-weight)
Needles: US 4-5 (for DK) or US 6-8 (for worsted)
Notions: Stitch markers, cable needle or double-pointed needle
Homework: None
Class size: Maximum 30
Cost: $30 for members ($65 for non-members which includes Guild Membership)
How to Register: Email Programs AT SanDiegoKnitters DOT com (Note: to use Guild email addresses, you’ll need to change the AT and DOT to appropriate symbols and eliminate any spaces. Guild email addresses are not clickable.) – Be sure to include your name, the name of the workshop, your email address and a telephone number. The confirmation email will include where to mail your check #.
# Reminder: Checks are to be made payable to San Diego North Coast Knitters Guild (payee name must be written out in full.) Please write name and date of the workshop on your check.
Cancellation policy: Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel your workshop registration. Refund of the workshop fee requires a cancellation notification at least 48 hours in advance of the workshop. Fees cannot be refunded for cancellations with less than 48 hours advance notice.
