Faina Goberstein Workshop 2

Wow! Right from the Start!
No worries: This is not another class on cast-on methods. Here you will have fun and learn how to add a WOW! effect to a simple hat, shawl, sweater, gloves, or any other project for kids or adults right at the cast-on. We will use cast-on methods you probably know already in a very creative way. Once you try this new approach, there is no going back. Your projects will be unique and fun to make.
Meeting Format: Lecture and hands-on learning, via Zoom
Level of Experience: Basic Knitting. Knit/ Purl; Cast on/ Bind off.
Materials and Supplies Needed for Class:
Yarn: Solid color yarn (DK or worsted-weight)
Needles: US 10 straight needle (one), plus US 6-9 circular needles suggested for the yarn
8 medium-sized beads (any type)
Size D crochet hook
Dental floss threader
Homework: None
Class size: Maximum 30
Cost: $30 for members ($65 for non-members which includes Guild Membership)
How to Register: Email Programs AT SanDiegoKnitters DOT com (Note: to use Guild email addresses, you’ll need to change the AT and DOT to appropriate symbols and eliminate any spaces. Guild email addresses are not clickable.) – Be sure to include your name, the name of the workshop, your email address and a telephone number. The confirmation email will include where to mail your check #.
# Reminder: Checks are to be made payable to San Diego North Coast Knitters Guild (payee name must be written out in full.) Please write name and date of the workshop on your check.
Cancellation policy: Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel your workshop registration. Refund of the workshop fee requires a cancellation notification at least 48 hours in advance of the workshop. Fees cannot be refunded for cancellations with less than 48 hours advance notice.
