To help celebrate our first (in a while) in-person sit and knit opportunity, we are having a knit-along. We are featuring patterns and kits to knit up some holiday related gift items, just bring your own needles and hooks. We suggest sizes 3/4 to 6/7 in double points and regular, and crochet hooks too, in sizes F, G, or H.
You do not have to work on an offered project – come and share your own ideas for holiday gifts, or bring a current work in progress and sit and enjoy the company of other Guild members. We’ll have tables set up to make it all a little easier to work.
Plus, there will be a surprise visit from Laneras Yarns and a machine knitting demo by our very own Tania Marshall!
Further details can be found here.
This fun event will be held at the The San Marcos Historical Society in Walnut Park in San Marcos, scroll down for the address and a map at the bottom of this page.
The Society has plenty of parking, restrooms and even a picnic area. This event is an opportunity to see each other in person, chat, and admire some of those projects that we saw on Zoom or on the website’s Show and Share page. It also follows right after the July 4th weekend, so we’ll catch up with those members who are in town.
