July 6 – Annual Stash Sale!

The July 6 Guild meeting is not a meeting as such, but is the date of the Annual Stash Sale! The stash sale is the Guild’s biggest and most important fund-raising event of the year. It is a major source of the funds needed to support the Guild’s monthly speaker program and enables the Guild to offer workshops at a greatly reduced cost to our members.

Once again this year, the sale will take place at a private residence. In order to keep disruption to the neighborhood to a minimum, we are requiring participants to reserve a shopping time. Shopping times are offered at half-hour time intervals between 10 am and 2 pm: 10, 10:30, 11, 11:30, 12, 12:30, 1, 1:30. Non-Member shoppers will be limited to the 1:00 & 1:30 times. Shopping time will not be closely restricted to a half hour, but everyone will be encouraged not to linger as the number of people who can be accommodated in the sale area will be limited for health and safety reasons. Masks will be optional, but recommended. Since the location has limited parking available, we’re asking people to carpool when possible.

In an effort to accommodate members who may have special needs to access the sale, please notify us when you request a shopping time of any special needs, such as the need for a close drop-off point in order to enter the sale. Special requests will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.

The actual location of the sale is less than a mile east of the Wells Fargo/Trader Joe’s shopping center at the corner of Del Mar Heights and Carmel Valley Roads (13490 Pacific Highlands Ranch Pkwy, SD, 92130. Note: The exact address of the sale will be provided in the email confirmation to those who register for a shopping time.

Liz Woodword is handling the sale reservations. To reserve a time slot, send her an email by clicking on the email address below. Be sure to include your name, email address, phone number, first preferred shopping time, 2nd preferred time, and the name of a shopping “buddy” if carpooling. Non-members will not be admitted earlier than 1 PM. Once an appointment has been set up for you, you will receive a confirmation email from Liz advising you of your appointment time and providing you with the address of the stash sale.
