Build and Expand on a Base with Simple Shapes

This workshop is a lecture with some hands-on work. Participants will be provided with a measuring chart in advance, and templates will be provided for participants to draw on.

Learn how to develop a simple non-structured base garment from your measurements, and then see how you can develop a multitude of patterns, each simple yet stylish. Change the width, length, add some shaping, cinch it in, flare it out. There are lots of variations that can be made for simple to knit yet fashionable garments. Combine this with the information from the lecture, and you have a full suite.

Level of Experience: None.

Homework:  None.

Materials and Supplies Needed for Class:  Colored pencils/markers for drawing. Paper and pencil for taking notes.

Cancellation policy: Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel your workshop registration. Refund of the workshop fee requires a cancellation notification at least 48 hours in advance of the workshop. Fees cannot be refunded for cancellations with less than 48 hours advance notice.
