Minutes of the General Meeting

Encinitas Community Center, 1140 Oakcrest Park Drive, Encinitas, CA
Co-President Renate Kamm called the meeting to order at 12:30. She urged members to visit the tables in the back of the room after the presentation: for workshop sign-ups in April and May, for library books and magazines, for philanthropy drop off, and for stash sale collection.
Theresa Kotancheck Program Co-Chairperson introduced our speaker Wendy Tyler who gave a highly entertaining and informative account of raising alpaca at her Black Wolf Ranch and Fiber in St. Ignatius, Montana. Wendy also brought some of her own yarns to fondle and purchase.
After Wendy’s program, Theresa Kotanchek gave a brief preview of upcoming programs and workshops in April (Lesley Anne Robinson) and May (Assia Brill on Zoom.) In July Yumiko Alexander will be visiting our guild.
After Show and Share the meeting was adjourned by Renate Kamm at 2:03 PM
