Stash Sale – Saturday, November 7!

Good news – we are holding the Stash Sale after all! And we have a spinning wheel for sale this year! The sale will take place Saturday, November 7 in a big back yard which will allow for proper social distancing.
Appointments are required: In order to limit the number of participants in the yard at a time, appointments are required and will be scheduled in the order of requests received. You are welcome to attend with fellow members, just let us know who is coming when you make your initial request (it will not be possible to accommodate additions later due to the scheduled time slots). To keep things fair to those with later time slots, yarn will be added during the sale. Anyone arriving at the sale without an appointment will not be accommodated.
To schedule a time slot: contact Stash Sale Coordinator Lou Wanna Katz, email address at the bottom of the page. For organizing purposes, please submit your request by October 18. Non-members will be given the last time slots. Time slots will be available at intervals between 10 am to 1 pm.
IMPORTANT: Masks and Gloves (due to all the handling) will be required at the sale, gloves will be provided if you do not have them.
Location – the back yard of a private residence in Encinitas near the freeway, exact address to be provided with your reservation confirmation. The location can be sunny at times so wear your favorite sun blockers!
This is the only guild fund-raiser for the year – please do not ask volunteers for discounts or markdowns. For a small fee you can use credit cards. This year’s leftover yarn will be saved for the next sale. If it rains, the sale will be held the following Saturday. If the COVID-19 rules change, adjustments will be made.
Special thanks: I would like to give a special thank you for the donation of 150 skeins of yarn that were received from the friends of Zulema Franco. May the items knitted with this stash create a lasting remembrance of their lovely friend Zulema.
Please note: I am no longer accepting donations this year – please save anything you wish to donate until next year.
