2019 Annual Holiday Luncheon and Fashion Show

September 24, 2019

The December monthly meeting is a ticketed event.
Advance Pre-Paid reservations are required.

Check the December Guild Meeting page for times and details.
Check the Opportunity Drawing page for drawing details.

The December meeting is a luncheon with a fashion show, and an opportunity drawing which supports all our exciting Guild programs and projects and is a major fundraiser for the Guild. This event is tremendous fun and will sell out, so reserve today! Once again, the Guild is offering two seating options – open seating and reserved table seating.

Open seating is just that – an unassigned seating reservation, payable in advance. Seats are selected by the individual at the day of the event. Details and the reservation form can be found on the December Guild meeting page. At the day of the event, each individual is responsible for picking up her own ticket and finding her own seating once the doors are open. Since open seating is just that, do not request to be seated with a specific person – there is no way to honor such requests.

Reserved table seating requires a “table captain” who will be responsible for creating a group of ten, collecting table participant information and funds, and requesting a table reservation with advance payment (single check only). Details and the form can be found on the December Guild meeting page. At the day of the event, the table captain is responsible for picking up the table assignment and tickets and distributing meal tickets to the individual table participants. The table captain’s name will be displayed on reserved tables, and once the room is open, luncheon guests can go directly to their seats.

If you are a participant in a reserved table, you don’t need to stand in line! Look for your table captain instead.

General, open seating reservation requests can be submitted anytime until Saturday, November 23rd, which is the final deadline. The reserved seating deadline, requiring a named table caption, a list of names, and a single check is November 1st. After November 1st, any unreserved tables will be released for general purchase. Meal preferences, and any changes in names must be submitted by November 23rd to Karen des Jardins.

See detailed information regarding reservations and forms on the December Guild meeting page. Contact Holiday Luncheon Coordinator Willa Cather with any questions about the Holiday Luncheon.

Opportunity Drawing tickets will be sold when the doors open – please bring cash! The Opportunity Drawing is a major fundraiser for the Guild and is your opportunity to win fun items such as special knitted projects, books, tote bags, and other goodies!

Fashion Show! Model a hand-knitted garment in the Fashion Show. Items previously shown at Show and Share during a Monthly Guild meeting are not eligible. Up to three separate items per participant can be modeled. See detailed information and a form on the December Guild meeting page.
