The Shape of Things to Come
In every case, because we use a knitting pattern, we are subject to the fashion in which the designer created it. There are many hidden secrets that you can use to fine tune a garment for better fit in shoulders, caps, necklines, sleeve and, of course, body shaping. We’ll take time to review and discuss each of these ares. Then, we’ll work on learning the secrets to perfect each of them.
Materials: Sample yarn and appropriate needles
Homework: Knit four swatches. Cast-on 40 stitches. Work in stockinette stitch for 10 rows. Leave stitches on needle; do not bind off.
