Share-A-Square Philanthropy Event

September 25, 2018

Knit-a-Square with the Guild

Join Guild members for another Knit-A-Square event on Wednesday, October 17, 9:30 to 11:30 am. It’s the last Share-A-Knit event of the year.

This time you can either start or finish a simple 12-inch square. We are continuing to knit and collect squares so we can assemble and donate even more blankets to Project Linus. (Learn more about Project Linus and other Guild Philanthropy recipients here.)

As always, free patterns and yarn will be available to all comers. Bring your needles (US 5-8, either straight or circular) and crochet hooks in varying sizes

We’re meeting at Panera Bread in San Marcos (575 Grand Avenue San Marcos)  Since Panera is a business, please come prepared to purchase at least a small coffee.  RSVP to Philanthropy Chair Ginny Newton at Philanthropy@sandiegoknitters.com

Learn more about the event here.
