Minutes of the General Meeting

At 12:32 p.m. Co-President Renate Kamm called the meeting to order. She gave updates on Philanthropy, Holiday Luncheon Drop-Off of donated items, and Holiday Luncheon sign-ups.
Program Co-Chair Willa Cather introduced our guest speaker Miss Babs (Barbara Ausherman ), who presented an entertaining account of her life and career in dyeing yarns. Barbara demonstrated how many of her choices of colors have been inspired by the natural beauty near her home in eastern Tennessee. Her trunk show was ample evidence of her considerable skills.
After Barbara’s presentation, Program Co-Chair Theresa Kotanchek gave more details on the Miss Babs workshops, plus she previewed our speakers and workshops for the rest of 2024: Nancy Bates and Cecilia Campochiaro. Theresa went on to give us a sneak peek of our 2025 programs. What a line up! Theresa ended her announcements with a request for members to help with our Cast-On Party in January.
