2021 Holiday Luncheon and Fashion Show

About 130 Guild members and guests gathered on December 6 for a wonderful celebration of our knitting and friendship. As the 25th anniversary of the Guild approaches, we were thrilled to have founding President Colleen Davis and founding member Phyllis Bates with us to enjoy the day!
Opportunity Drawing ticket sales were brisk as members admired the wide array of gifts on display. These included beautiful products, valuable gift certificates, and essential tools donated by our supportive vendors and sub-groups — fabulous finished objects created and generously donated by our talented members — and, of course, yarns of every color. The Luncheon Committee thanks everyone who donated a gift. New this year, Door Prize drawings began even before our lunch plates arrived! Lucky attendees won a variety of gifts including extra centerpiece collections, 1-skein accessory kits, luxurious yarns, and the unexpected treat of home-made jams.
After lunch we really got down to business. Opportunity Drawings and Fashion Show groups alternated until we had given away all 36 gift baskets and admired each of the 39 garments and other finished projects entered — with a few more Door Prizes awarded along the way. Finally, it was time to draw for the table centerpieces and say our goodbyes. Mark your calendars for next year’s luncheon on Monday, December 5, 2022! If fortune favors us, we’ll all be able to safely attend without restrictions.
