Philanthropy Update for January 2022
Happy New Year!

966 items created by the members of our Guild and other community groups have been distributed in 2021. It’s been an exciting year during the continuing pandemic to be at the helm of Philanthrophy. It has been gratifying to receive and distribute beautifully knitted and crocheted articles.
These are the recipients of our donations in 2021 – thank you everyone! The Emilio Nares Foundation, Rady Children’s Hospital; Veteran’s Administration Medical Center San Diego, Volunteer Office; Mexican Medical Ministries; APALA; Chapparal Humanitarian Alliance; Knots of Love; Military Showers of Support; Women’s Resource Center Oceanside; San Diego Jackets for Veterans; and Nazareth House.
I will be at Solana Beach Library lower parking lot on, Tuesday January 18, 11:00 to 12:00 – details can be found here. This meet up will be for turning in completed items and for distribution of yarn.
Please contact me to arrange for pickup of your completed items if you cannot come by on the meetup day. I can be reached at PhilanthropyATsandiegoknittersDOTcom or check the directory for my contact information.
Thank you everyone.
