How to Seam Open Fabric

Class Description: Seaming open fabric can be tricky, but when you learn to seam correctly you will see how easy it is to make perfect seams. I will demonstrate how to seam row edges and stitch edges. And you’ll have the opportunity to practice seaming.

Class Length: 2 hours

Meeting Format: Hands-on learning

Level of Experience: Should know how to do mattress stitch

Homework:  Knit 4-6 panels (stitch patterns will be provided)

Materials and Supplies Needed to Bring to Class:
Darning needle and scissors
Homework – Knitted panels

Materials Fee:  None

Class Size Limit: 20

Cost: $30 for members ($65 for non-members which includes 2023 Guild Membership

Your registration is guaranteed upon confirmation of receipt of your payment.

Cancellation policy: Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel your workshop registration. Refund of the workshop fee requires a cancellation notification at least 48 hours in advance of the workshop. Fees cannot be refunded for cancellations with less than 48 hours advance notice.
