May 2015 Retreat

Our spring Retreat will take place May 18 to May 21, 2015 at the beautiful Mary & Joseph Retreat Center in Rancho Palos Verdes.  The grounds are lovely, the views are wonderful, and there’s hiking on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, with trail heads nearby within walking distance.  There are three yarn shops within a six mile radius, AND it’s about a two hour drive from the San Diego area! (Of course, it will take longer than that if you stop at any of the 21 yarn stores on the route.)

The retreat begins with lunch on Monday, continues through breakfast on Thursday with three full meals on Tuesday and Wednesday.  There’s a communal dining room with some tables outside in addition to those indoors. Costs for three nights and nine meals are $460 per person (single room) and $355 per person (double room). The accommodations are quite similar to those at La Casa de Maria and each room has its own bathroom.  A masseuse is available on site with prior-made reservations.
