Polymer Clay and Yarn: A Perfect and FUNctional Union of Knitting and Polymer Art

Polymer clay, a versatile art medium, brings the FUN to functional closures and adornments for knitwear and woven wraps. Two “claymates” and members of the San Diego Polymer Clay Guild, Kathy Hepburn and Denise Pinnell, will share their enthusiasm for creating with polymer. Both prize winners for their polymer creations at the San Diego Fair, they bring their unique perspectives to working with polymer. They will demonstrate how polymer has moved from the kitchen table to an international and museum quality art form. Prepare to be amazed as you learn about the diverse and growing artistry in this medium and consider opportunities to add polymer clay to your creative talents in knitting and crochet.

Kathy and Denise are teaching two hands-on workshops on Wednesday.  Denise teaches the morning workshop on Creating Custom Buttons and Kathy teaches the afternoon workshop on Holding it All Together.
