The Art of Invisible Shaping
One more way to perfect the look of your knitted project. Learn to shape with techniques that are not visible and do not disturb beautiful stitch patterns that are used. We will talk about shaping in cables, lace, as well as other textured fabrics. We will see how to use an alternative shaping method that is invisible even in Stockinette. Learn all the ways to hide traditional shaping methods and you will love the results!
Level of Experience: Intermediate
Homework: None
Materials: Bring one or two balls of yarn and suitable size circular and double-pointed needles.
Materials fee: None
Cost: $30 (members) or $55 (non-members; includes annual Guild membership).
How to Register: Sign up at the May Guild meeting or send an email to Programs@SanDiegoKnitters.com stating the workshop name, your name, email address and a telephone number. Payment is due prior to the start of June Guild meeting. Pay by cash or check. Checks can be mailed directly to our Treasurer.
