Sally Holt Workshop – knitCompanion Intermediate Class

This intermediate class picks up where the August 1st Intro session leaves off.

Agenda:

— Learn about the Setup tools for customizing your key and using knitCompanion’s unique chart tools such as the one-tap marker and magic markers.
— Adding a one-tap marker for written instructions.
— Creating row reminders and learning use cases for them.
— Basics of Join.
— Add a custom cover image for your project.

This class is appropriate for all Apple and Android devices. It will be run using the most up to date version of knitCompanion available at the time of the session. All of the topics covered require a subscription to knitCompanion. It is recommended (though not required) that attendees have downloaded knitCompanion and subscribed to the app, and created their first project and familiarized themselves with the basics covered in the Intro.

Pre-Requisites: Attend the Intro to knitCompanion session (the August 1st Guild Meeting). If this is not possible, an approximate substitute is the free Intro Tour: knitCompantion tour

Program Cost: $30

Class Size: 30 max

How to Register:
1) Register in person at the back of the meeting room at the July 11th meeting, payment due at the time of registration. Checks are to be made payable to San Diego North Coast Knitters Guild (payee name must be written out in full – our bank will not accept checks with abbreviations) or via Square credit card swipe (a small service fee will be added.)

2) send an email to Willa Cather at Programs AT SanDiegoKnitters DOT com (this is not a clickable email address – you’ll need to change the AT and DOT to appropriate symbols and eliminate any spaces.) Be sure to include your name, the name of the workshop, your email address and a telephone number. Payment is by check made payable to San Diego North Coast Knitters Guild (payee name must be written out in full – our bank will not accept checks with abbreviations.) Checks should be mailed to Willa Cather (address in your Guild Directory.) Your registration is guaranteed upon confirmation of receipt of your payment.

Cancellation policy: Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel your workshop registration. Refund of the workshop fee requires a cancellation notification at least 48 hours in advance of the workshop. Fees cannot be refunded for cancellations with less than 48 hours advance notice.
