Norah Gaughan Visits the Guild!
Norah will present her talk “Inside Knit Fold, Pleat Repeat”
Take a peek inside of Norah’s mind as she talks about her latest book and how her design process works these days. The projects in the book are based on origami techniques, starting out with simple yet interesting ways to design with squares and rectangles and moving on to applying pleats, tucks, smocking and gathers to garments with more standard shaping.

Please note: we are meeting at the Encinitas Community Center in Banquet Room B, at the far left side of the parking lot. Doors will open at noon, and the meeting will start promptly at 12:30. We have a set time slot and must clear the room on time for other scheduled afternoon programs. Additionally, per ECC rules “Punch, grape drinks or other red or purple beverages are prohibited” in the meeting room. The ECC requires the wearing of masks for unvaccinated guests and recommends masks for vaccinated guests. Thank you for your cooperation.
