Jamie Lomax – Workshop 2: Doodle Mash-Up

Wednesday, September 9 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Lomax WS 2 Doodle Mash Up

Doodle Mash-Up

Doodles by Pacific Knit Co. are modern and whimsical colorwork motifs that enable knitters to design and knit exactly what they want! The Doodle Framework has 4 simple steps:

1) Pick your pattern shape
2) Pick your Doodle Motifs
3) Pick your yarn colors and
4) Start knitting!

This class will be all about how to create your own Doodle Mash-up. A Doodle Mash-up is any project that uses charts from more than one collection. From as simple as combining Autumn + Halloween charts or as complex as building an entire storyboard of your favorite movie using as many different Doodle Decks as you can grab! We’ll walk you through some of the ways we think about Mash-ups, how to come up with ideas, resources for finding or modifying the charts you need, as well as other creative tips and tricks to making the most customized project you’ve ever knit.
