Are you ready to take your knitting beyond the ordinary? Then come and be inspired by the boundlessly creative knitwear designer Laura Nelkin!
With a background in apparel design and a decades-long passion for knitting, Laura brings a unique perspective to the world of knitwear design. Her patterns seamlessly blend style and functionality, making them a joy to knit and wear. Her designs are known for their intricate stitch patterns, innovative techniques, and elegant lace motifs that keep every knitter engaged — Laura has something for everyone.

Guild Business Meeting: After Laura’s presentation, there will be a brief Guild business meeting prior to Nelkin Design’s Trunk Show.
Show and Share: Bring your finished items and show them off to your knitting friends! A completed Show and Share form is required for each item you share (limited to three, please) to be dropped off at the table when you enter the conference room before the meeting. You may download, print, and complete the Show and Share form in advance to bring with you.
Doors open at 12:00. The presentation will start promptly at 12:30, with the entire program ending at 2:30. The meeting will be held in the Encinitas Community Center, Room 142B; scroll to the bottom of this page for address and a map to the location.
