Bernstein Workshop 2 Whale Conga Line

Whale Conga Line Cowl: Flat 2-Color Brioche with Increases, Decreases, and Syncopation

In this class, we explore knitting 2-color brioche flat, introduce increases and decreases, and finally explore syncopation (flipping colors).

This class features Michele’s Brioche Whale Conga Line pattern (included with workshop registration).

Format: Lecture and hands-on learning

Length of class: 3 hours

Level of experience: Must be able to knit 2-color brioche rib (flat or in the round).

Supplies for Class:
• One light-color DK weight yarn, 100 yards
• One dark-color DK weight yarn, 100 yards
24” US#4 circular needle
• Stitch markers
• Optional: Row counter

Homework:
• Print out class handout.
• Download pattern for class (code will be provided).

Class Size: 30 maximum

Class Fee: $30 for members (paid 2025 Guild membership required at time of registration)

Reminder: Checks must be made payable to San Diego North Coast Knitters Guild (payee name must be written out in full.) Please write name and date of the workshop on your check.

Cancellation policy: Refund of the workshop fee requires a cancellation notification prior to receipt of the class handout.
