April 6 – Åsa Tricosa Visits the Guild Virtually Beginning at 11:30.

February 22, 2021

About Åsa.

Ziggurat sweater

Åsa is a Swedish knitting designer who now lives in Denmark with a Danish husband. She knits with abandon, and has knitted her way from Sweden to Denmark via New York, Boston, Singapore, Sussex, and Germany. She can be found on Ravelry and has a website.

Åsa’s designs are mostly seamless and top down, and she is seriously attracted by unusual solutions.

The Ziggurat sweater is her signature. It is a seamless, top down, contiguous or simultaneous-set-in sleeve method, developed and polished since the first Ziggurat saw the light in 2011. It became and remains a passion.

Åsa Tricosa Ziggurats Book Cover

This year is the 10-year anniversary of her first ziggurat and Åsa is using the occasion to share her passion with ever more knitters through her eBook, kits, new knit-alongs, and more.

Because of the time difference, the April Guild meeting will start early at 11:30! Details about the April Guild meeting and Åsa’s talk can be found here.

No workshops will be offered.
